Emily Fitzgerald is a visual artist known for intimate photography utilizing natural light. She received a B.A. in Visual Arts

from Prescott College and attended Brooks Institute of Photography as well as the University of Texas at Austin. She is the

author of Sacred Spirits: Women’s Wisdom, a collection of photos and interviews of women working for positive change in

the world. Her love of photography is woven through her work as an educator in homeless shelters and public schools across

the country. She has traveled extensively throughout Asia and nurtures her love of nature through organic gardening and

sustainable ecology. Emily Fitzgerald currently lives in Austin, Texas where she is well-known for shooting portraits that

capture the true spirit of her subject.
